Time Street™ - interactive mall plaza design

Time Street is an interactive mall plaza designed by Sencity to blend reality with fantasy by utilizing mixed reality and unique themed experiences. Each visitor can immerse themselves into full sensual and unique journeys as they travel down the plaza. This project is designed to unleash the potential of new retail experience by integrating Metaverse mentality and service design technology.

This SencityOS® 5G interactive-technology augmented shopping mall plaza allows visitors to immerse themselves seamlessly into different themed worlds as well as interact with their surroundings using touch, body movement and even their facial expressions.

Multiple unique permanent interactive installations make up the majority of digital surfaces across the plaza. Each visitor can also scan a QR code to generate their own unique “seed” in the beginning which evolves as they interact with each installation along the plaza, eventually growing into a distinct “signature token” which can be signed and “planted” across all the digital surfaces within the area.

Visitors are then given digital reward tokens to redeem different prizes within the shopping mall stores. The project also encourages the use of digital currency as a method of reward. This is a futuristic way of experiencing new retail in the cross reality between the physical world and digital world.

Sensible Lover - Cross-Reality park design

Sensible Lover is a permanent interactive generative installation empowered by cutting-edge Metaverse technology. The beauty of its connotations makes it full of profound cosmic immersive appeal, this innovative yet intuitive artwork transcends the physical limitations of space and time. Sensible Lover endows people with new interactions, new inspirations and new collisions within public spaces.

In one of the largest scientific parks in Asia, Sensible Lover gives the public space new inspiration and spiritual impacts with the use of self-developed SenCoreJS® sensor modules and public space interaction engine SencityOS®. Sensible Lover also marks the beginning of the interactive Metaverse, and the yearning for a better urban life of the future.

By walking through the endless corridors of time and space between created within Sensible Lover, and by confronting the light and shadows of the cyber era, the dazzling light effects are as if dancing swords and halberds are waved in front of each passer-by. Allowing them to immerse themselves in the era of Metaverse romance. This is an innovative approach for creating a landmark in public spaces, reducing the potential waste of deploying too much digital signage in the park. Sensible Lover is a combination of futuristic interactive signage combined with cutting-edge experience Metaverse experiences.

MagicBase - Sencity’s interactive bench product

Sencity ”MagicBase" - an interactive bench which combines music, artistic lighting and interactive technology, is crafted to bring moments of surprise and joy. A variety of instruments and audio effect layers which synergises into a musical sonata are added whenever a person sits down on different places of the bench. As the number of people sitting down increases, additional instrument layers are added towards the sonata, combining into a harmonious and euphonic movement.

Like the ripples created by falling leaves or stones thrown into lakes, light also flows around the sides of this bench, spreading against the backdrop of the silhouettes of the resting people, creating an immersive and warm evening atmosphere of Zhongguancun No.1. By combining precision location recognition algorithms, smart visible light modules and VJ Generative interactive coding, people can feel the amazement and happiness produced by the interactive experience as well as the intriguing beauty of futuristic cities as they rest on this smart interactive bench.

WindLight - Sencity’s interactive landscape, is a tribute to Mother Earth.

Windlight encourages visitors to ponder the two fundamental elements of life: Wind and Light. Wind - an enigmatic and profound force from our planet that sustains life's perpetual motion; Light - the radiant beacon of positive energy and life-sustaining warmth that imparts hope to all living beings.

The simple act of exhaling air upon the pinwheels, or merely the act of moving around them, acts as a tangible manifestation and evokes memories of our innocent engagements with nature during our childhood.

Clusters of luminescent pinwheels punctuate the chosen pathway or coalesce at a central location. Pedestrians can interact with these structures by breathing air onto designated pinwheels, equipped with integrated sensors, adorning the installation. The immersive interplay of ambient light and responsive surroundings fosters a harmonious and memorable experience for people, igniting visions of a future characterized by joy and hopeful urban living.

Each pinwheel, individually powered, illuminates the night through programmable LEDs, creating a cascading wave of lights or soothing flashes that mirror the interaction with the blown pinwheel, generating a symphony of twirling pinwheels and light. The installation further accentuates our fervor as artists for delivering superior experiences through a custom mechanism that remix technologies to produce highly interactive pinwheels.

Sencity's SenBox, a standardized hardware controller, allows the augmentation of any display or interactive device remotely, integrating it seamlessly into the Sencity user experience ecosystem. The entire installation is meticulously weatherproofed and can withstand severe stormy conditions.

Drawing inspiration from the musings of 'Homo Ludens' and 'Sapiens', this Sencity design is a testament to our playful interaction with nature and our conscious endeavor to coexist.
