…Play is vital to human beings. However, there's something even more crucial that often goes unnoticed…..
……Instead of a future of roads and cars, the founders want to see the city as a large sandbox playground to learn and discover. Sencity is built on an implicit belief that people are good and want to be good citizens and good neighbors. I guess I too want to be part of that desire to make the world a better place and to work with people and teams that I enjoy spending time with. Who would not want that as well?…..
…Travel also featured prominently in our recent activities. Due to business endeavors in Australia, team members journeyed between Shanghai and Sydney, paving the way for valuable overseas interactions and opportunities.
….Health experts consistently advise the importance of physical interactions, changing stationary postures, and engaging in social and intellectual interactions throughout the day. These elements are vital to keep us mentally agile and physically limber. While exercise is crucial, it doesn't necessarily require intense regimens like CrossFit, Ironman, or marathons. For many, regular walks and consistent, brief physical activities during the day might be more beneficial than prolonged intense workouts….
…Post-lockdown, consumers will indulge in minor, affordable pleasures. These purchases, whether tangible goods or experiences, offer a respite from the ongoing challenges.
Although an initial shopping spree might occur post-lockdown, it's likely to be short-lived. However, consumers will continue to reward themselves with small treats, valuing experiences over possessions. Retailers should adjust their strategies, emphasizing experiences that foster brand loyalty and community engagement.
In upcoming articles, we'll delve into the post-pandemic impact on other sectors, from food and beverage to travel and entertainment. We'll also release a white paper offering specific solutions for the evolving retail landscape….

A strong team dynamic is important for the success of a start-up as every decision made affects each person in the team. As Steven puts it, a strong effective team increases productivity of a small company like Sencity Corp. In this company particularly, team outing lead to a stronger effective team. A strong team bond naturally forces one to bring forth their best fruits. This perhaps is one of the most profound professional lesson I have learned. The bond I have for this team made long hours of work worth it.
"If you happened to pass by A/D/O, a creative space at Greenpoint Brooklyn on the morning of April 20, you might have seen people lining up and waiting to get into the Food-X Demo Day. Inside that building, several entrepreneurs from food startups were waiting to present their greatest edible inventions to the public. Our TetraBIN was there too, waiting to be fed by the crowd."
"Summer had just arrived. For many students, summer reminds us of never ending days spent with friends old and new, outdoor activities, and most importantly freedom to do whatever our hearts desire. However, as we grow older, the inevitable happens and most of us take on more responsibilities. For me, this responsibility came in the form of an internship with Sencity..."
If we are to be honest to ourselves, it is that maybe we are too naïve in trying for so much. But we also like that the TetraBin is honest to a fault, and that our innovation here predicates on our belief in the very best of people – that we could leverage the convergence of play and technology to create a community around not just cleaner and more lively cities – but also constantly novel and joyful urban experiences. Urban-X, Sencity.
